Introspective Therapy was founded to transform lives and help people meet their full potential. Introspection is the process of reflecting inwards. As a psychotherapist, I utilize evidenced-based practice tools to examine thoughts, feelings and behaviors to remove blocks, fears and distorted thinking that impede personal growth.

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy is a psychosocial evidence-based practice model effective in treating anxiety and mood disorders. CBT examines the relationship between one’s thoughts, feelings and behaviors to create growth. This model was developed from behavioral and cognitive psychology.

Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT)

Dialectical Behavior Therapy is an evidence-based psychotherapy treatment consisting of four modules: Mindfulness, Distress Tolerance, Emotion Regulation and Interpersonal Effectiveness. DBT teaches people how to regulate their emotions, develop healthy relationships and manage their distress.

Motivational Interviewing (MI)

Motivational Interviewing is a client-centered therapeutic approach that elicits behavioral change by increasing motivation when an individual experiences ambivalence. MI is an evidence-based practice model used in primary care, mental health and addiction treatment.
